Expressions are an important part of the serious After Effects user's workflow but can be daunting for many users, especially beginners. iExpressions is an easy-to-use tool that harnesses the power of expressions without the need for writing or understanding code, allowing all users to harness their power

I think its one of the best implementation of expressions into AE workflow. Its logical, easy to use and harness much power and possibilities.

iExpressions rock! They take your work to the next level. You really owe it to yourself to try iExpressions - it makes creating Expressions in AE a cinch. It's about time someone created something like this for AE.

Hi Federico,

you can create two Null layer, make them 3D and link the iExpression parameters Line Point 1 and Line Point 2 to them.

Then you can animate the Nulls and the expression will follow.

Best,
Mathias

Hi Joanna,

you can download the trial version using the link at the top of this page. The trial is working for an unlimited time, but most expressions only work for the first few frames. We thought this kind of trial is better than a time-limited version, since its enough to figure out how it works and whether you like the tool, but you don't have any time pressure during your evaluation.

Best,
Mathias

no this is not good enough. a trial must last 30 days and allow all features to work fully. I will never try anything that has a limitation while I try it. stop with the $$$$ all the time dammit.

Yes, as long as you use your project only in the French version, everything should work. Only if you try to open a project created in your French version in a version with another language, it might happen that some expressions break (When you link something to a slider control and the slider control is named "slider control" in the english version, but has a different name in french, the link is not fount anymore). You can avoid this to manually naming all your controls before linking something to them.

Hi Nicolas,
in CS4 it is installed exactly the same way as in any other version. You need to copy it into the ScriptUI Panels folder.
