For good pans, nothing can replace a good tripod and a steady hand. But what you can do in post is to turn a good pan into a brilliantly smooth one.
This tutorial shows how to create such ultra-smooth pans by stabilizing them using Mocha and After Effects. The shown technique is very similar to the "Stabilize Motion without the Need to Zoom" tutorial, but uses iExpressions instead of normal expressions.
Note:This tutorial uses an old version of MochaImport. The new version MochaImport+ creates an even more powerful stabilization in a single click. See this video for details of the new method.
