Today, April 4th 2013, Adobe revealed some details about the next generation of their video tools. In this tutorial series we give you some sneak peak about the next version of Adobe After Effects. The tutorials are recorded with the not yet published version of Adobe After Effects that will be shown by Adobe in their demos at the NAB show.
In this video we take a look at the improvement of the camera tracker from this next version of After Effects. Compared to the CS6 version, it has two improvements:
- Possibility to refine tracking point to improve accuracy of the camera solve
- Ability to set the origin and ground plane
Setting the ground plane and origin is already possible in CS6 with the help of our tool Orient World. In the video, we also compare both approaches and analyze, where Adobe After Effects Next offers more convenience and why it will still be useful to combine it with Orient World.
