02 · Privacy

Hosting and access logs

This static website is hosted by STRATO. Technical request data is processed when a page or file is delivered. According to STRATO, visitor IP addresses are retained for no more than seven days to detect and defend against attacks. STRATO makes anonymized access logs available to us for the previous six weeks and shorter-lived error logs for diagnosing failed requests. We use this information only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the reliable and secure operation of the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Email links open your configured email application. Email is not a completely secure communication channel; avoid sending sensitive information unless suitable protection has been arranged.

03 · Analytics

Google Analytics is optional

Google Analytics is disabled by default. The Google tag is downloaded and measurement begins only after you explicitly allow analytics. Declining has no effect on the website’s functionality, and production Analytics is never loaded on the staging website. Processing is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR); access to or storage of information on your device is also based on your consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG.

If enabled, Google Analytics measures page use with information such as session statistics, approximate location, and browser and device information. It uses a first-party _ga cookie containing a client identifier. Google states that IP addresses are used during collection to derive approximate location and are discarded before being logged or stored in Analytics.

The recipient of Analytics data is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may also process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google states that it relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where applicable, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers.

In this Google Analytics property, event data associated with cookies, user identifiers, or advertising identifiers is retained for 2 months. User data is retained for 14 months. The retention period for user data is reset when new user activity is recorded. These settings do not affect most aggregated standard reports.

Your preference is stored locally in your browser. You can withdraw consent at any time; this stops future collection from this website and removes Analytics cookies that the website can access.

04 · Newsletter

Newsletter signup

Newsletter signup uses a form hosted by Brevo. The form is not embedded on mamoworld.com: Brevo and the form’s Google reCAPTCHA protection are contacted only after you follow the external signup link. The form asks for your email address and a required newsletter consent; it does not request your name, interests, or other profile information.

Brevo is operated by Sendinblue SAS, doing business as Brevo, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 498 019 298, 9–17 rue Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France. Brevo processes the email address, signup time, consent record, confirmation email, and related delivery and confirmation events on our behalf under a data processing agreement.

Subscription uses double opt-in. The confirmation link expires after 30 days, and an unconfirmed address is not added to the newsletter list. Brevo retains the attempted signup and confirmation-email events in its event and transactional logs. We keep those records only as long as they are needed to document the process, prevent abuse, or resolve delivery problems, and delete them when they are no longer needed.

Confirmed subscriber data is used to send occasional mamoworld emails about tools, tutorials, and product updates for motion designers and video editors. Processing is based on your consent. You can withdraw it at any time through the unsubscribe link in every newsletter or by emailing us. A minimal suppression record may be retained so that no further newsletter is sent after an unsubscribe request.

Google reCAPTCHA helps Brevo distinguish legitimate submissions from automated abuse. Google may receive technical browser, device, network, and interaction information when the hosted form is opened and used. The Google recipient and possible transfers outside the European Economic Area are described in the Analytics section above.
